The School
Edinburgh Chinese School is situated in the capital of Scotland, Edinburgh. The school is a non-political, non-religion and non-profit making registered charity. The school itself is a success with the examination results achieved each year being of a high standard. In the 2002 exams, the results of the A-Level and General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) were mostly A's & B's, with only one student obtaining a B grade.
Chinese school is held for 2 hours each Saturday during the school term. Aside from learning Chinese, there are also opportunities to join in clubs and activities such as Chinese Dance Group, Lion Dance, Abacus Learning, Chinese chess, and many others. All helping to promote our Chinese culture.
In addition to all our extra-curricular activities, the school also operates a Prefect Group for some of the senior students and this has been a great success so far.
Edinburgh Chinese School has an Equal Opportunity Policy and strives to promote Social Inclusion Strategy. We welcome anyone who is interested to join and details can be found in the contact us section. Back to top
